Easter Gift--Photo Essay of Gethsemane and the Garden Tomb

And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane, which was a garden . . .

JST Mark 14:36

And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Luke 22

The Garden Tomb

Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and others with them.

And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

Luke 23-25

And may the message of the resurrection, always bring . . . joy to your journey.

May I please use some of your pictures for my sharing time? I want to show the Primary kids what it may have really looked like there.

Hi Lori-I haven't had time yet to review your trip. What a wonderful experience! I'm commenting because my daughter and son in law are starting to look for a place in your area. They want to rent a house with a cost of between $850-900 as close to the school as they can. Could you ask around or email me some contacts for her? my email is tlarsen1 at cox dot net. Thanks! I'll be back to read the rest!
